To help promote the launch of Anchorman 2, Telstra wanted to provide a fun competition to consumers that gave them the opportunity to easily enter the competition to win a range of prizes including an Interview with Will Ferrell, an exclusive Pool Party, Advanced Screenings and Double Pass tickets to see Anchorman 2.
Telstra deployed Tapit across a number of their Telstra phonebox assets situated throughout Australia.
Leveraging the power of Tapit, Telstra suddenly transformed their owned media assets into dynamic content delivery points allowing consumers to tap or scan their smartphones to easily enter the exclusive Anchorman 2 competition courtesy of Telstra.
Telstra also used the Tapit platform to help understand for the first time how consumers are interacting with their phonebox assets including data such as location, time of day, handset, carrier, operating system and more.
This is another great example of how big brands can harness the power of Tapit to transform their physical based media assets into dynamic interaction points allowing consumers to effortlessly access rich content on their smartphones.
